In 1907 the shooting club Wangen an der Aare planned a new shooting range in the Wiedlisbacher Moos. After some negotiations with the Wiedlisbach Shooting Club, they agreed on a new, common shooting range. On October 25, 1908, the Wangen and Wiedlisbach riflemen inaugurated their new facility. The partnership lasted until the construction of the A1 freeway through the Wiedlisbacher Moos. The shooting range in the old shooting club house had to be relocated due to the new road. From 1975 the building was therefore taken into operation by the military until it was more or less shut down for over twenty years. Although the Schützenhaus was placed under monument protection by the Wiedlisbach municipality, it slowly but surely disintegrated into its individual parts during this time.

The regional experience catering trade AG changed the meanwhile ramshackle and ailing shooting club house into a concert and music restaurant. On October 16, 1995, the Regast AG team received the conversion permit by a municipal assembly resolution. In only 15 weeks, the old Schützenhaus became the Schuetzenhouse disco club.
